What Dayblob stores

Dayblob stores the following on your device only:

• Journal entries you write, including text formatting.
• Photos you choose to attach to an entry.
• Stickers you add to an entry.
• The journals (categories) you create and your app preferences, such as language.

All of this is kept in the app's private storage on your phone. It is never uploaded to Anveros or to any third party.

What Dayblob does not do

• Dayblob does not require an account or sign-in.
• Dayblob does not connect to the internet.
• Dayblob does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking of any kind.
• Dayblob does not include third-party SDKs that collect data.
• Dayblob does not sell, share or transfer your data, because it never receives it.

Photos

When you attach a photo, Dayblob asks for permission to access your photo library. The selected photo is copied into the app's private storage, compressed, and stripped of location and other metadata before it is saved. Dayblob only accesses photos you explicitly select.

Your data and your device

Because everything is stored locally, you are in full control of your data. Deleting an entry removes it from the device. Deleting the app removes all journal data. Dayblob currently has no cloud backup or sync, so losing or resetting your device also removes your journal. If we add optional backup or sync in the future, it will be opt-in and this policy will be updated first.

Children

Dayblob does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it collects no information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
